Past the familiar routines and the expected lay a hidden place at the end of the apple orchard — a small clearing framed by young trees poised just above the creek.

Here, the child felt something beyond mere happiness, something almost holy, as the sun threaded its way through the wattle trees, casting a diffuse light on the moss-covered ground and bringing the sharp scent of eucalyptus to the air. She would run her hands over the heath bushes, feeling their rough textures and marveling at the tiny, perfect flowers.

The beauty of this place was something she couldn’t fully articulate. It was beyond her, defying her attempts to capture it in words. Her connection to the clearing was so deep that she longed to become one with it, consume it, and internalize it completely.

She felt as if she was part of the trees, the grass, and the sky. The sunlight filtering through the leaves felt like a gentle embrace, warming her skin and filling her with calm and happiness.
