In our quest for survival, we resort to storytelling. We immerse ourselves in narratives that sustain, instruct, and console us. The traditional constructs of belonging, deeply rooted in our lives, undergo a profound transformation in the heart of modernity. We find ourselves amidst the constant buzz of urban life and the perpetual glow of digital screens. The concept of belonging, once tied to physical aspects like land and lineage, has now evolved. Our modern tribes are no longer confined by static borders or shared historical narratives. They have become dynamic, shaped by shared passions and mutual interests, a stark contrast to their traditional counterparts.

Picture a quilter in Australia, her nimble fingers dancing over fabric, patterns echoing traditions deeply cherished, who discovers a kindred spirit in an artisan in Tokyo. Despite the oceans that separate them, they are bound by their shared love for their craft. Similarly, imagine a motorcyclist, the leather of his jacket worn soft by countless journeys, sharing a wordless, profound connection with a fellow rider navigating the winding roads of Tuscany. These connections, spanning vast distances and diverse cultures, give birth to a new kind of tribe — one that is not defined by historical ties but by shared pursuits.
